Pastor John Heiserman has been married to Denise for 40 wonderful years. They have joyfully served God together in full-time ministry from their first “I do” to their present, “Let’s get ‘er done.” With two grown children, five grandchildren, and a growing congregation of church-planting pioneers, they experience very few dull moments.

Pastor John has shepherded churches in a number of states in the USA and served as a foreign missionary for twenty years in India and the United Kingdom. The rich and rewarding experiences of sharing Jesus on foreign soil will certainly benefit John and Denise, who are now called to start this new church at Lake Tansi. They are excited to see what God will do here!

Pastor John has a rare teaching ability to make God’s Word simple, understandable, and applicable to everyday life. His vision is understood by his recent words of compassion – “I drive up and down the streets of Lake Tansi and ask God to let me share the love of Jesus with every one of the thousands who live here.”
